Mallorca
In
April the BMC travelled to Mallorca for some sun and bolted routes. The
weather was perfect not too hot to climb but lots of sunshine:
"
We
did do some climbing, although the number of routes per day declined as
the week wore on (and the San Miguel count increased). The climbing was
excellent but safeÉ..the advantage of those bolts I suppose. Most memorable
routes (all ***) included The Master (6a) at Sa Gubia and Colesterol Party
(6a) at Santanyi."
"
Mallorca
was my inaugural Ôbolt climbingÕ trip and I loved it. Invited along by
Rick as a BMC ringer, I ventured out to Mallorca ready for some sun and
hot rock. Fantastic climbing and the sun was shining. The only downside
was our forced early departure in order to make our flights home. A friendly
bunch. Great climbing. Too much beer. What more could I ask for? Definitely
invite me again!!!"

Sa Gubia |
"Apart from
two days in Sa Gubia which has the majority of routes on the island we
climbed at a different crag each day. The settings were beautiful such
as Cala Santanyi sea cliffs in the warm sun with fantastic views.
Cala Magraner was another beach crag with a lovely walk in great
climbing!"
